Dr. Bess is Moving his Practice to Arizona 8/1/26

 Dr. Shay Bess has been appointed as Medical Director of Spine Services at The University of Arizona- Phoenix and Medical Director for the Phoenix market for spine care for Banner Health.  Therefore, Dr. Shay Bess will be closing his practice in Greenwood Village, Colorado on July 31, 2026.  Beginning on August 1, 2026, Dr. Shay Bess’ new office address will be 755 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85006 and his new office phone number will be (480) 733-7400.  We encourage you to follow up with Dr. Bess in Colorado prior to his departure, to follow up with Dr. Bess in Arizona, or begin the process of establishing care with a new provider to ensure continuity of care. If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled before July 31, 2026, Dr. Shay Bess will be happy to assist you with your transition during your visit. If not, you may choose any provider of your preference. 

Medical Records Access

To request a copy of your medical records prior to July 31, 2026, please call Dr. Shay Bess’ office at (303) 788-5230. After you submit a medical records release form, Dr. Shay Bess’ office staff will provide you with a copy of your medical records. 

After Dr. Shay Bess’ practice closure on July 31, 2026, patient records will be transferred to Morgan Records Management, LLC, Dr. Shay Bess’ official records custodian. Records will be securely maintained for at least 10 years from the date of your last visit/procedure with Dr. Shay Bess, in compliance with all applicable laws.
